Direct-to-Film (DTF) printing is an advanced heat transfer method that allows full-color designs to be printed on a special PET film and then transferred onto fabric using a heat press. Unlike screen printing or vinyl, DTF does not require weeding or cutting—simply press, peel, and go!
The process includes:

DTF transfers are extremely durable and can withstand 50+ washes without cracking or fading when applied correctly. To maximize longevity:
🔹 Wash inside out in cold water
🔹 Use mild detergent (no bleach or fabric softeners)
🔹 Tumble dry low or hang dry
🔹 Do not iron directly on the print
With proper care, DTF prints remain soft, vibrant, and stretchable for the lifetime of the garment.
Applying DTF transfers is quick and easy with a heat press:
1️⃣ Set your heat press to 315°F (160°C) for 15-20 seconds.
2️⃣ Position the DTF transfer on the fabric, printed side down.
3️⃣ Apply medium to firm pressure and press for the full duration.
4️⃣ Let the transfer cool completely before peeling (cold peel).
5️⃣ Press again for 5-10 seconds with a Teflon sheet for extra durability.
